Todd Kohlhepp is arrested and currently imprisoned at Broad River Correctional Institution in Columbia, South Carolina.

He was arrested shortly after Kala Brown’s rescue. He confessed to the killings and kidnappings while meeting his mother. Following his arrest, he claimed that he had more victims who weren’t discovered.

On 26 May 2017, Todd pleaded guilty to seven counts of murder, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of criminal sexual assault and was sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole in a plea bargain that spared him from capital punishment.

Before his sentence in 2017, he had already served fourteen years in prison as a sex offender. With an IQ of 118, he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. During his imprisonment, he graduated from Central Arizona College with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
